Welcome to my Meg’s Glass Creations site! All works here are hand made in the ancient traditions of stained glass. I use foil and solder, zinc, and sometimes lead came. Since 1992 I have been making one of a kind crafts and material items ranging from ornaments to quilts, bespoke clothing, and all sorts of things I couldn’t begin to list. It’s been a long and slow transition to what I believe inspired me to begin with – Stained Glass. It’s always daunting trying something new but, my partner convinced me that if I could sew, make a Thanksgiving dinner, change my own auto oil, and pour concrete that I could certainly learn stained glass.

I have made hundreds, perhaps thousands of pieces now. I still do ornaments and always will – they’re just special, right? The beauty of the lighted glass and the encouragement of all my friends and scores of patrons have continued to make my love of it grow. There’s nothing quite like seeing the custom piece you create beautifying the space of someone who loves what you do!
